Olive farming and stakeholder support under Pakistan’s Ministry of National Food Security & Research were handled in a fragmented way: paper records, WhatsApp messages, phone calls and scattered spreadsheets. No single system held a farm, its plots, its trees, their health and their yield together.
Growers and other stakeholders had no proper channel to raise an issue, including ones that touch SECP, FBR, BOI or PSW, and no way to see where a request stood or what had been decided.
Field officers could not easily see just the farms assigned to them, and leadership had no dependable overview of request volume, status and progress. Without role-wise reports or exports, decisions rested on incomplete data.
