The challenge

The problem we set out to solve.

Agricultural exports in Pakistan touch several public bodies at once. The Ministry of National Food Security & Research sets policy, the Ministry of Commerce oversees trade, TDAP handles commercial registration and NAFSA is responsible for food safety. Each step lived in its own process, and an exporter could not easily see where an application stood.

Overseas buyers had no simple channel to report a problem with a consignment, and no way to follow what happened after they reported it.

Leadership needed a single national view of registrations, consignments, compliance and complaints, while every agency kept control of its own review stage and every decision stayed traceable.

The solution

How we built it.

01

Register once, verified in two stages

Exporters register their company a single time, and reviewers record NADRA, SECP and NTN verification status on a checklist ready for live registry integration. Each application passes a TDAP commercial review and then a NAFSA food-safety review, and reviewers can approve, reject or ask for more information at their stage.

02

Consignments with a full lifecycle

Verified exporters submit consignment records with buyer, product, quantity, destination and supporting documents. Each record moves through a tracked lifecycle from submission and review to ready for shipment, shipped, delivered and closed.

03

Complaints without an account

Buyers and importers file a complaint from the public site and receive a tracking number to follow it. Agency officers work each case through triage, notes, resolution or escalation, and it can be reopened if the fix does not hold.

04

A national dashboard and reports

Leadership sees registrations, consignments, estimated export value, compliance rates, destinations and complaint trends in one view, and can pull official reports by product, country, province and month.

05

Province data integrations

The platform includes a secured sync module for provincial data sources that validates every endpoint, logs each run and raises a notification if a sync fails.

06

Role-based access, signed sessions and a full audit trail

Ten roles, from ministry leadership and agency officers to exporters, buyers and auditors, each see only what their job needs. Sessions are signed and time-limited, and key actions are written to an audit log.

The benefits

What it unlocks.

One process, four agencies

Registration, certification and complaints run through a single workflow instead of separate offices and files.

Status you can see

Exporters and buyers always know where an application, consignment or complaint stands.

A national picture

Leadership tracks exports by product, destination and province without waiting for compiled reports.

Traceable decisions

Every review stage is owned by the right agency, and key actions land in an audit log.

The result

What changed.

1

Shared workflow for MNFSR, the Ministry of Commerce, TDAP and NAFSA.

13

Tracked consignment states, from submission to shipped, delivered and closed.

10

Roles, each scoped to exactly what that user needs to see and do.

  • Designed so exporters register once and follow their application through TDAP and NAFSA review in one place.
  • Gives overseas buyers a direct, trackable channel for complaints about Pakistani consignments.
  • Gives MNFSR leadership a single national dashboard covering registrations, consignments, compliance and complaints.
  • Taking it to production adds live NADRA, SECP and FBR API integration, single sign-on, government-cloud or on-premise hosting and Urdu localisation.

The National Export Portal is designed to replace a trail of offices and forms with one shared workflow. Exporters, regulators and buyers share one record, and every decision along the way is owned by the right agency and traceable.
